Espn has something for everyone. And they've gotten better and better every year. What makes them special is a number of really great things. To name a few of their wonderful strengths:
Sportscenter- the broadcasting is stellar.
Humor- From the commercials to their shows, these guys know how to make fun of weird, slow overpaid athletes.
Analysis, Commentary- at the same time, they know which athletes deserves the recognitions (like Barry Bonds, Shaq.)
Commercials- As I mentioned, the sportscenter commercials rock.
Diversity of sports- I used to not like the sports they play. But now, they have the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB and College Sports. AT the same time, they retained other sports like X-games, running, rowing etc.
Responsibility- they dont overhype drug use or sex. They seem to conduct themselves responsibly to their viewing audience. They respect diversity and they respect he inclusion of all people in the sporting arena.
Wow. These are just a few reasons to name a few. I highly recommend this to all sports fans. (the other station only has one show--the really terrible and pathetic ''best damn sports show.''
