I had visited enrich brand in Ahmedabad at Shyamal circle branch on 9th August 2019 Saturday for a facial, full arms waxing and underarms waxing.
Before which I was told about a scheme by their employee wherein I get to spin to win minimum 500rs worth services up till 2500rs services if my services were billed on non-member price adding up to 2500rs or above.
Mind you, I have been a member with them for 2 years. Have done the spin the win earlier.
I agreed, like a fool, was asked to pay 3970 for services as per non-member which is 20% above member discount for which I have paid earlier.
The best part - the tab didn't work and I didn't spin. How ridiculous!!!
I was anyways going the next day for a manicure and pedicure so was asked to spin then.
I agreed however found the so-called scheme absolutely ridiculous. Since if I spin and get 500rs. I am in a loss since 20% member discount would add up to 800rs. off. Which I rightly deserved having paid for the membership earlier.
I asked if could not go for the scheme and pay as per member to which I was told the system will not accept and it was a network error. If it was a human error, it would have been told humans are bound to make mistakes and since it was a technical error, I was asked to believe it was unavoidable.
She refused to adjust my advance payment as per member to my services of manicure and pedicure. Although she offered to make sure if I get spin value below 700rs she will offer me a complimentary service.
I spun and got a 750rs. Which is still lower than the discount I would have got otherwise. She expected me to be happy and that both of us are within comfort.
Actually, I was not since I faced a loss of hard-earned money, had to pay in advance for future services which I didn't want to.
My point is why the hell I am pushed so hard to go for a scheme which I don't want to go since it is robbing me of my hard-earned money!
Robbing how? 20% got me 800rs off, spin the win got me only 750rs worth service. There you go.
And what fun is it to get me to a scheme which is robbing me, or giving me no benefit.
All I see is enrich benefited by taking money in advance from lakhs of customers, enrich employees getting promoted for having met their Target and the only sufferer is me and loyal customers who have paid for membership.
Ridiculous marketing strategy ever.
Also, I was told customers win services worth 2500rs In spin the win.
I asked for a list of customers who have won. And would confirm with them for having won services up til 2500rs in spin the win and they obviously denied.
Funny part, I saw employees talking about spinning the wheel for another customer over a VIDEO CALL? It would be spun by the EMPLOYEE in the absence of the CUSTOMER! Like REALLY? She had dare not offered me something similar...is that how lowly and unprofessional is ENRICH?
