Ennaku 20 Unnake 18 Review :
After a Massive Hit by Rahman,Boys,He is back again with a youthful album with is rich in teenage flavour.But this time the ussage of English words in the songs are very less,infact only 10%.Surely will impress any stage of teenagers.Rahman is very steady in composing youthfull albums with fresh intruments.
1.Azhaginna Azhagi (Askava) - Shyera Ghosle & Surjo
- The songs kicks off with a danpangutu style with modern.Shreya Ghosle with her sweet & young voice handled the song within her finger tips.Her voice is so haunting when she sings '' Vastava''.Surjo at his best stage sings tamil with apriciatable pronouncation.The lyrics are very common in teenagers dialog.'' Kozhai pecugal vendame,Kadhali indral kooopudnge''.Great Lyrics bny Pa.Vijay.The interludes are very new in Rahman's library as he really modified the dapangutu,especially the second interlude,the nadawaram & the beats,Marvelous!

2.Santhipooma - Unnimenon & Chinmayi
-The song starts with very galaxy type feeling,all those star sound on the background,probably the lyrics were based on Jupiter & Neptune.Chinmayi,you are very blessed with such voice at a young age.He voice is so refreshing,and so does UnniMennon.The part UnniMenon sung ''Ennai Thakiya Davaniye'' sounds very telugu'ish.But the lyrics are very youhtfull ''Phone Sandai Poodalam'',If Vairamuthu can use the sky for ink,& sung & moon as postman in the song Kadhal Kaditam - Jodi,so can Pa.Vijay,but he went far away ''July Katril Jupiteril & Santhipooma Neptunil santhipooma,Kadhal Swasem poothume''.Good Job Pa.Vijay.Rahman Has amazed us by his music which suits much with the https://lyrics.

3.Kamma Kamma (Bling Ding A Ling) - Anupama,Aparna,Kunal,Blaaze & George Peter
-Very Shaggy type of song,but looks like this is the song which is in the lips of youths.In the second interlude Rahman has used his 'Garerisa' - Kangalal Kaithi Sei tune.In this song it has english words by Blaaze,who is with Rahman since BABA until Kangalal Kaithi Sei,and will be with Rahman until Ayutha Ezhutu,which is Rahman last Tamil album for a certain timing..Good youhty music by Rahman,who is reaching his 40's.

4.Oru Nanban Irunthal - Chinmayi,SPB Charan & Venkat Prabhu (Son of Gangai Amaran)
-Very amazing song with youth voices singging it.The interludes has some interesting feel.And also the usage of Veenai in between.Many people mistakes the ''Iyo'' part is beeing sung by Rahman,but its by Clinton,who sounds very much like A.R.Rahman.The words touched me & made me into tears with words such as '' Oruvar Vithulel Padathe tunginom,natpil poorvai koole,Intha Kaadhal koode Azhagilil tondrumel,Tozhan indre sonthem ondre,tondrum namathil uyirolle'' which sticks with the music very well.The music by Rahman just has some ''friends'' feeling,very soulful music.Great job to everybody!

5.Yetho Yetho Ondru - Karthik & Gopika Poornima
-This song somehow reminds u of Udhaya Udhaya melody which has Rahman music too.The starting which Gopika sing '' ooo Ooo'' sounds very much like pour Kuyil Chitra,and certain parts of the song too.Karthik as usual at his very best with his thick voice,which blends very good with the music.Lyrics are very mesmerising,which now days not much songs might have that romantic lines.Some how you might prefer Udhaya Udhaya because of the 2 best combination,Sadhana Sargam & Hariharan, which Sadhana can make the song sounds more sweeter.Music by Rahman in this song gets 100% votes.

6Asuthara - Srinivas,Chitra Sivaraman,Mathangi & George Peters
-The song sounds very youthful with some new instruments beeing used by Rahman here.Chitra Sivaraman sounds very different from Alle Alle- Boys,which was a Mega Hit.In the chorus you can hear Devan,who sung many hit songs,but wasnt credited at this song.The interludes are very new.Takes a while until you will enjoy this song.Srinivas always sounds new in Rahman songs.Rahman,ur 'new' in this song too.The ending of the song,which will be handled by Chitra sivaraman is haunting.The ''Yeaa Yeaa Yeaa, Ahha Ahhaha'' part.

Overall this album is very youthful in Intruments,voice,music,style.For a new director,A.M Jothikrishna,the music rahman provide is very very high.You will enjoy the songs after repeated listening.You wont get another 'Boys' for sure,unless the director is Shankar,which unfortunatly the next Shankar Movie, Robot/Aniyan will not have Rahman music in it,which will be a 60 % minus point for his film.That movie by Shankar will be handled by Harris Jeyaraj for the Music,which his musics sounds 90% like Rahman.All the Best Shankar!
