I visited Elite Ford Marathahalli to purchase an Automatic Ford Ecosport, I was meet by an executive named Guru Prasad.
I told him excatly what I need as I already knew I wanted a AT Ecosport in black. The showroom didn't have many cars in display and the executive showed us around the cars available and inbetween the power went off. Then the agent started to turn on his mobile tourch to countine on the remaining demo. So this is a store without power backup.
As I didn't care about the store, I went ahead and placed the order request because I was told by Guru Prasad that Black AT Ecosport is already ordered for the store and will be available for me in 10 days time+ 5 days for registration process. I was agreed and did the initial payment. I also purchased 88000 extra fittments for the car as well.
I was ready with the full paymeny and called after 10 days and was told the car is still on its way, 15 days still the same story, 20 days same story, 25 days same story and even after a month same story. Both the sales manager Deshikachar babu and executive Guru Prasad kept telling the same stories. And most of the time didn't even pick up my calls. I even wrote to their Customer Relations Manager and still no results
I went to the store by surprise one day and asked them what's happening. Executive and Sales manager then tells me that the car hasn't left the manufacturing facility yet and they are not sure how long it would take to even deliver th car. I wanted to cancel the booking immediately but was convienced by the manager to look at another color(Drak Grey) and he would offer me 5000(five thousand rupees) for the delay but was asked to pay this amount to the store and it would be refunded back as all the docuumentation is already done.
So I agree to take the car and its been 3 months and 2 days since I am writing this review that am still waiting for the refund. The executive collected a cancelled check from me for my bank details and still tell me that its been lost and I have give documents again.
I might have made atleast 200 calls to the Sales manager, Executive and the landline to get my car and a few more for this refund money.
