This serial used to be telecasted on Saturday’s. This serial is based on the people of Colonelgunj its a area in Allahabad.
In this area or mohalla their are different types of people with different thinking.All the nuclear family behaves like one large joint family though they are from different region or state or religion.If one faces any problem then all of them get together and try to solve the problem.
Urmi(female lead- Suhasini Dhami) is in love with Sandeep( male protagonist -Varun Badola).Urmi’s family wants her to get married to a well settled boy and have a good life.On other hand Urmi want to get married to Sandeep. Sandeep is a small time reporter in a news agency.
There are 4 other guys as well who are head over heels for Urmi. They try different ways to impress her but fail every time badly.
All the characters in the serial are good and play their roles to the T. This serial ended within 1 ½ year. The director didn't drag this serial like Ekta Kapoor serials.
But I miss watching this serial.Hope the director and its team brings the 2nd season.
