Support Sessions were not upto expectations. Review on Edureka.co

I am an experienced software and web developer and recently availed a course of Advance Java at Edureka for which I have paid 18000 Rs. I really find my decision of investing in edureka courses, highly wrong. Let me tell you why

1.Many of the codes provide din their videos and ppts will not work. This happened to me several times and last encounter was with Spring+ Hibernate where codes provided by them are not working at all.

2.For each course, they are different tutors and all of them are freelancers. Every tutor has its own approach to the same concept. They are not on the same page. You donot know their experience and also you donot know whether the tutor assigned to you uses new or old approach. I have attended batches of two tutors, they are all different. Even first batch tutor was using very old versions of tools and libraries.

3.If you really want to learn, obviously you will ask a lot of questions. But if you ask many questions, tutors will start ignoring you and will park your questions. They don't understand that we have paid 18000 Rs. for live training, not video watching.

4.Once the course is over, there is no way you will be connected to your tutor again. There is no such provision. Like in my case, when spring and hibernate codes did not work according to ppt, video and even tutor's recommendation(he did not demonstrate the working in class), I requested for more than 1 month to edureka to connect me to the tutor. But everytime, they connect me to some other technical person who does the things in their own way. They don't consider the method of tutor. This means the time I spent in attending class was a wastage and now I will have to learn new approach by some other technical person. Thus, learning is totally ruined.

5.There is no refund policy. They don't return anything when they are not able to help you in completing your course. As a result, I am planning to send them a legal notice for refund.

6.Now I see that UDEMY offers every course in just 640/-. So even if 50% of UDEMY codes work, I could have got 29 courses in 18000 Rs. which is a far better deal. I have taken Advance Java and other courses now at Udemy, and I am happy. Also, UDEMY trainers are responding to our queries within 24 hours. They also refunded me full amount when I was not happy with one course.

Bottom Line: DONT GO FOR EDUREKA. IT IS A SCAM. GO FOR UDEMY, EDx, etc. They are far far better.

UPDATE:

The support team of edureka gave a call and offered the support of their technical guy to solve my problems and we had a session too. However due to my busy schedule, I could not complete the course till date but they have promised a consistent technical and training support whenever I require the same.

Additionally, I would also like to share that I had an Online course with one more company: Eduwizz Online Trainings eduwizzonlinetrainings.com/

and on comparison, Edureka is still far better that others, I must say that. Although my course was never completed in Edureka but still, the way sessions were executed and the level of support is far better than Eduwizz Online Learning. I will try my best to finish the course with Edureka and I hope they will help me out in getting the things done.
