Kendriya vidyalayas are spread all over India and is one of the best instituitions. It gives an all round development to the students and is a good example of an integrated culture . the students are always very active and receptive . They are broadminded because they get exposed to all kinds of cultures and languages.
all this is fine but the vidyalayas claim to provide free education and claim no tuition fee and girls are supposed to get free education.
After all these tall claims these vidyalayas charge computer fee and a nidhi called vidyalay vikas nidhi, which is very high and does not come under the head tuition fee.this fee prevents students from low income groups to join the so called government school and the government employees cannot claim reimbursement because this amount is not claimed as fees.
Government claims to support primary education and quality education, then why is it cheating citizens in the name of vidyalay vikas nidhi. Isn't the government responsible to provide all the required infrastructure.
KV-IIsituated in Kalapet, Pondicherry University campus school is denying the access to this school to the fisherfolk staying in the village Kalapet because of this vvNidhi .For whose benefit is this school functioning ?
