Ebay guarantee has no meaning. According to me, they are fraud. If you want to experience, just visit their website. It is not easy to get in touch with them either through call or email. After so much of struggle, when got, their customer care and called up, they were not able to solve my problem.
I made a aishwaryasingh23ment of Rs.9, 500 for buying SAMSUNG GALAXY CORE PRIME G360 on 4th January, 2015. I had been replied on the same day that estimated delivery date for the product is 8th January. When I followed up on 8th January through an email, I got a response from the seller "Prabha Karan" justbuy2014@gmail.com that my mobile will be delivered tomorrow i.e. on 9th January. Post this, on 15th January, I got a mail from Ebay that refund has been inmajeechaated as shipping partner has not confirmed the pickup of my mobile.
After this, I wrote several emails to the seller i.e. Prabha Karan and Ebay. I have neither got my money back nor mobile. I realized that when we are buying any online products, there are 3 parties involved 1) online platform provider i.e. Ebay India 2) Shipping Partner i.e. Blue Dart and 3) Seller i.e. Prabha Karan(must be distributor), in this case. If any of these has not done their job properly, we are the sufferer and nobody is responsible for this.
Today, I have been made running from pillar to post for no reason. Not even seller, is replying to my mail. Will he stop doing his business, if Blue dart is not doing its job properly.
My recommendation to the mass is that it is very important to check the history and review of the online platform providers. These people are not just concerned about their reputation as they have access to the people at large. It does not make any difference to them if I as an individual complain but it definitely makes difference if lot of people does the same thing.
