EBay in US has very high standards. However, the same in India has lost its standards. It's like anyone can sell anything on eBay.
When it comes to buying anything from eBay, watch for the below;
1) Check for free shipping(not only in the seller city but throughout India) or else pay additional for shipping.
2) Know the market price of what you are buying, or else you may end up paying more.
3) Look for top rated seller to avoid quality issues with the product and the seller.
4) Read through the product description to know what you are buying.
5) Pray to god that you get a proper working item and got have damaged items.
My personal experience is that 90% of the times through eBay you get proper items if you follow the above. However, there are times when you get bad quality product and a dumb seller. Raise a concern with eBay service on the issue and 50% chances that your issue may get resolved.
Also, please do not give a negative rating on eBay if the seller does not really deserve it.
