If you are an avid golfer or is interested in golfing, this place has a lot to offer. It has a nice 18 golf course, nicely maintained. I like the Golf course as the way it used to be in states, and for India I never expected this kind of golf cources. so since it was beyond my expectation, I truely liked spending time and enjoying thje golf course and the swimming pool.
Wwe were wanting to go to a nearby place outside bangalore . not more than 2 hrs of driving, as I have a small baby who can not be sitting in a car for hours. Looked over the internet for nice resorts or a cooler place. My husband loves playing and practising golf, though he is a newbie in the game. Found this place and after couple of calls this option of golfing looks promising.
We started from whitefield in the morning around 10:30 and since we took a bad route we were stuck up in the city's main traffic of MG Road, reached there after 12:30 . but after struggling with bangalore traffic, this place looked like a great place . just like a place in a developed country, out of hustle and bustle of india.
We took a day out package at 850/-+ taxes. which includes the lunch buffet, tea snacks, indoor and swimming pool. Foir golfing . the driving range costed 100/- and balls 50/- for 50 balls. For putting another 100/- including the clubs and balls. This was an ok cost . not quite expensive .as compared to service and things in bangalore which is just touching the US dollar rates. This was cheap whn compared to the dollar rate . though it might be not too reasonable when you think that you are in India. So we thought its a good deal in 250/- to enjoy golfing with a driving range and putting/chipping.
We started with our lunch buffet - The service is not good . food was ok to good . not bad at all . you can expect a lot bad tasteless food in some good restaurant's of bangalore. The good things was food wasnt jsut a mix of enormous spices . moderate spices and chilli. I would say. Dessert collection was good with mix of cakes/ mousse/ pastry/ choco fountain/ icecreams/ indian sweets.
After lunch we headed for golf . had some good shots at driving range . did a bit of putting.
Headed for snacks at 5:30 . was tea/coffee with some cookies . got freshen up and just dived in a swimming pool.
Since the day was hot being 2nd May . the swimming was really refreshing .we started back for home from eagleton at 7pm .and reached around 9:00pm . this time we took the nice road .and came via hosur road to whitefield . which was worth the drive . Nice roiad and hosur via varthur road .was calm and cool .:)
Its a nice place to spend your day with a golfing experience . I think they have some golfing classes too for the beginers.
