Hey everyone we had been to the Goregaon branch of Durian furniture. its a huge place and we had seen their ad in the newspaper.
We selected a centre table and 4 chairs all in wood. It initially looked good with the glossy smooth finish, however the reality comes to light just after 3 odd months after purchase. Now firstly let me share that Durian prices are not cheap, pretty expensive I will say!
When it was delivered home my father was skeptical from that moment itself as he said that the table is too light in weight for it to be good wood. we thought it is some kind of cheap ply or box wood.
Now the scenario is that two of the table's legs are out of balance and so is one chair which is wobbling.
Also another bad thing is that the joints in the table are not done properly. the wax type of thing which is filled in cracks to make it look smooth is coming off and that looks so bad to the eye.
I paid with my hard earned money guys. and this is what I got. I guess sonali bendre is their brand ambassador, she should stop endorsing them! Im now on a mission who ever comes home I make it a point to show them the pathetic quality of Durian and warn them of the sad brand. I hate Durian.
