My parcel was dispatched by a Delhi merchant on August 6th, 2022. All my couriers from Delhi reach my hometown within 3-4 days. Sometimes even less.


On 12th the tracking system showed that the parcel has been delivered, although I didn't receive it. I discussed it with the merchant who couriered it. The DTDC staff told him that I have received it and they also have signature, when they were asked to send the picture of signature, they didn't answer for 4 days.


The merchant and I wrote various mails to DTDC, but they didn't help. On 16th the merchant talked to the DTDC Delhi staff who sent my courier, and she talked to the DTDC staff of my hometown, and they kept saying that the courier has been delivered. I was more worried because it was a prepaid order.


On 17th I received a call from DTDC Delhi office asking if I have received the order, I told her that I haven't received any order or any call. But the staff of DTDC Paonta Sahib continued telling lies that it's delivered. 4-5 times that lady called me up on 17th saying that she has talked to DTDC Paonta staff and my order has been delivered, when I asked for a photo of the signature, they obviously didn't answer.


In the evening around 6, I received a call from DTDC Paonta office telling me that they are on their way to deliver my parcel, when I asked them why did they fake updated the delivery status on 12th that man said "it happened by mistake". I told them then why have you guys been lying that you have delivered my parcel they obviously didn't have any answer, so the next thing they started saying "your number was not reachable for the past 6 days", which I do not believe because I live in a proper network area and I was receiving calls on daily basis.


After that, they started blaming me "you have given incomplete address", which again is a lie. I have been using the same address for years and all my parcels get delivered.


Finally my parcel was delivered on 17th and the delivery guy or the man who called me up didn't even have the basic courtesy to apologise.


After a couple of days I received a call from some lady from DTDC head office, I told her the whole issue but she seemed uninterested. Then she asked me the date it was delivered and I clearly told her 17th. The same evening I finally received the reply to my email complaint saying "issue has been resolved, consignment delivered on 12th confirmation from my name which is again a complete lie.


Their service is bad. Their helpdesk is bad, they are all bogus and unprofessional.
