Dove Shampoo-gentle cleansing. Review on Dove Shampoo

Dove Shampoo, made by the wonderful Unilever company, which also makes Salon Selectives, Lever 2000 soap, Dove soap,Suave shampoo and much more.

Since I love the Dove conditioner, I decided to try the shampoo. There are many different kinds of Dove shampoo, the one I am using is called Moisture Rich Colour-for medium to thick colour treated hair. This shampoo comes in a thin bottle that is 300 mL big, the bottle is white with black and blue accents. The top is blue.

This shampoo does not have much of a scent,it smells kind of like Dove soap. The shampoo is thick and white. It does not lather super well, even when I add lots of water, but it does lather a little. I do like shampoos that lather great.

This shampoo claims it has weightless moisturizers. I agree, because neither the shampoo or conditioner ways down my hair or make it oily. This shampoo rinses out easily and I follow with Dove conditioner.

I recommend this shampoo. It comes in all different formulas, for normal to oily, colour treated, thin, intense moisture etc. Since I recently coloured my hair dark brown, I found that the colour is staying brown, it did fade a little bit, but it does not look bad at all.

If you like gentle cleansing shampoos with no scent that make hair soft try Dove Shampoo. For even softer hair, try the conditioner!
