A week load of tiredness was relieved in just ... Review on Dostana

Believe me when I say  "A week load of tiredness was relieved in just a couple of hours". I was really expecting some cheap comedy and was not sure how the director would have handled such a contorversial thing. But to my amazement the movie was not vulgur and was light hearted comedy to watch with one and all. You can call this movie as a "Laughter Riot" it was totally a "massacre" I could see people all over the theather falling off their seats laughing. A very entertaining movie after a long period.

I swear I don't remember of having laughed out in a movie in the recent past as I did in Dostana.

I am sure this is somewhat a extended effort of what Sharukh and Saif did in Kal Ho Na Ho. The role of Kanta Ben taken care by Kiron Kher/Sushmita(Priyanka's Aunt).

Individually John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan might not be that interesting and hilarious as they were as a pair. Bhagwan is Jodi ko baneye Rakhe. Dudo nahayen phulen phalen.

Abhishek and John where the show stealers thoughout the movie. They sure have a good chemistry as a couple and I hope Aish does not get Jealous of John. or Bipasha of Abhishek. I found the whole movie very hilarious and the movie rocked . Surely for the first half. Just when things seemed to be not so good again It was John and Abhishek to the rescue of this movie.

Bobby Deol although seemed to have not as good as he was in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom where he was with Abhishek.

I have never liked Boman Irani but this movie is an execption for Boman as well. His acting really was good.  Although Priyanka chopra  had done her part par excellence but she surely was overshadowed by John and Abhishek. Throughout the movie Priyanka seems very innocent in her act that makes it even interesting. It was really good to watch a movie where no one was overdoing or underdoing their roles but sticking to the natural act required in their part.

There were lot of scenes that the theater exploded with laughter.  Particularly in those where Boman, Priyanka, Abhishek, John, The

immigration officer, Priyanka's aunty all dance together for the song sequence'Beedi Jaleiley." and Kiron kher comes in also When It looks

like Priyanka finds out that  they are not Gay actually she

misunderstand them to be interested in Bobby Deol.

It was good to see the theater filled with all age groups and I am sure that those youngsters who came would go back only to bring in more of their friends to watch this movie. This movie is a hit already and will remain so for quite some time.

My Verdict: A must watch Movie.
