A lot of folks told me, Dont see the remake. Its not as good as the original. Well, had I listened to that I might have missed out ona good entertainer. Music wise, too letsw not start comparisons. Lets just listen with an attitude that is unbiased. Then lets see what turns out good, what turns out bad, and what is unpalatable.
For me, The two most favorite tracks are Aaj ki Raat & the Title song . The orchestrations for both these songs are awesome and backed up by great vocals. For Ajj Ki Raat, the beats are just cool. It swings my mood up each time I listen to it. Surely you cant find fault with it. And I am not talking visuals here. I am saying here this song is for pure listening pleasure.
Lets move on too the title song. This is a totally different sounding song, executed with pizazz by Shaan, as only he could do it. Even this song goes good on the ears.
The rest of the tracks has ye mera dil. That does at times sound like a re-mix song, that did not turn out right. Its a Flat number for sure.
Khaike.lets not even start talking about it. Here I withdraw my original statement, about not making comparisons. Here I will say, that Udit falls flat on his face, back and everywhere he can fall flat on. Here the original Kishoreda number is all that matters.
As Long as The music directors tried something new in this album, they did reasonable well. But in others, they just meander along meaninglessly.
Well its been my first reveiew after a looong while.I do hope you all will comment on this. Its sort of no comments on any review that take me off air from here.
