Story is the heart of any movie and to make sure it's been elaborated and presented very well is the job of the director. Farhan is one of those directors who proved his talent yet again. His new Don 2 venture proves to be a spectacular entertainer packed with action making you feel like a hollywood flick.
The story is fresh, new and it moves very fast. But it makes sure that won't leave the audiance left at some point with question marks. The second half picks up the pace with tremendous suspense value related to Kunal Kapoor.
Action being always the selling point when it comes to making a thriller movie by Farhan. The action sequences in Lakshya & Don were executed to perfection. Don 2 continues this trend to a new level giving SRK his movie of 2011. The jailbreak sequence, Roma chasing don, Stealing of European printing plates are some of those for which the action team should be given credit. The chases, the destruction, the escapes, the fights all have been executed to perfection.
Farhan doesn't waste time in introducing each and every character in this movie. Making sure that he is not going out from the plot. He stays focused in the script and evey minute thing has been taken care.
After the fallout of SRK in Ra.One, Don 2 is the movie where he sure going to gets an appreciation. Priyanka delivers proformance of high order. Lara dutta was ok. Boman does full justification of his character. Hrithik Roshan's dance sequence could have been a bit smaller. Kunal Kapoor played a decent role, didn't really get much scenes to prove himself but he is the one holding all the suspense.
Music is ok, but not better than Don. It didn't suit perfectly to this version of Don. Some of the songs were not much required.
Overall, a must watch movie of the year.
