Had a pathetic experience with online order booking with Dominos, as I ordered my pizza with garlic bread on 27-Apr-13 15:36 hrs (Order # 206) and made advance payment through my credit card. Later on I got call from Sec-14, Gurgaon outlet that They can’t deliver my order at my home hence I have to collect it either from their store or they can hand over it to me nearly ½ km away from my home. When I asked the reason, they told me that people snatches the pizza on the way that’s why we can send it at your home & threatened me to cancel my order and when I asked about my payment refund he told me that It’ll be debited in your account in 8-10 days since you made this payment through credit card.
Later I spoke to Mr. Sanjeev & Mr. Shoheb, after a long discussion, they agreed to deliver it at my home but to my surprise I got a missed call from 8802998358 @16:18 hrs when I called back I came to know that this was the delivery boy of Dominos and he asked me to come & collect my order from nokia care showroom which is around ½ km away from my home & when I refused to come he took it back to the store. Again I called at their store & had word with Mr. Sanjeev, then he again sent the delivery boy at my home by that time I was already more than an hour to my order since I got my pizza @ 16:40 hrs and all of us in my family were in very bad mood and had lost all the interest in having pizza.
Here I need to know if Dominos can’t deliver pizza at home then why they claim it and why they are taking online orders, secondly as per dominos, they promise to deliver the hot pizza within 30 minutes of the order then why it’s not free for me since it’s delivered to me in more than an hour. More over what action will dominos take to avoid such harassments to the customers? Still in hope to get revert from Dominos.
