I'm very impressed with Dell computers. I currently own an inspiron 8100. So far, its been wonderful. Their customer service is very friendly and helpful and their computers are relatively fast and reliable.
The only bad part about this is that you really need to be a body-builder to use it, since its heavier than anything you can imagine. Since I dont walk too often and school is small, I find that its weight is not that intrusive.
Technical assistance and customer service is wonderful, only a scant 15 minute wait to speak to a live technician, not 5 hours compared to others. I used to own a Gateway, and they made my hair turn gray. So if you can take anything from my piece of advice, dude, better stick with Dell.
