I just came out from a 6 day layoff. I was without internet for 6 whole days, not only without internet, I was also without a clue. Every time I called I had a new version of what might be wrong. In Fact most of the times I was told, there is nothing wrong in your area.We dont know whats the issue but we will investigate . Oh come on, I am not so lame, they knew all the while what's wrong, they just do not reveal.
Lack of clarity, shows lack of intent and promotes confusion and ambiguity, DNA! A clear-cut identification and solution to the issue with an SLA douses doubts and promotes confidence.
And yes trying to register a complaint on the phone is a herculean task during monsoons, the lines are always busy or left unFaizabad, but that's as I said, mainly in the monsoons or soon after a big issue just cropped up.
In all fairness the lines can be reached otherwise .Now I have a mountainous task of trying to get my 6 days loss compensated, going by my past experience, I know I would be put to task, they will be elusive and keep putting off my email and phone calls in the cold storage .
Before the onset of the monsoons I cleverly dropped my package to a very ordinary one, to offset any losses that I might have to bear and I was so right, it happened soon thereafter .

I wish DNA could be as prompt in attending long pending issues as they are in collecting aishwaryasingh23ments and persistently calling for renewals .
DNA if you improve the service people will not be reactive but proactive in their renewals .
The fact that DNA has a system of online renewals is again a respite .
My verdict, I rate DNA 3/ 5 during months that don't get rain and 1/ 5 when it rains . If you can see through the monsoons you will be okay, get an average service that is .
DNA you know vasai cable private limited, located at your friendly neighbourhood Vasai, are a lot cheaper than you are and more cost effective .I wish you could follow in their footsteps and make you plans more bang for buck . You also know Sify broadband in the same area is a lot more professional, I wish you could emulate them .
Ill come back and inform you guys if I got my 6 days compensation or not and if it was easy or after a run-around . Please come back for an update on that.
Update(02/07/2015): As expected I keep on calling them and asking them to extend my 6 days and on expected lines they keep telling me, it will happen sooner or later, but that's just an excuse.
Update(04/07/2015)- 6 days added after 10 calls and 3 emails and yes after a whole lot of struggle on the phone . Do not dilly-dally on compensation and extension issues DNA, that rubs salts on our wounds and adds insult to injury
UPDATE - 25/10/2017 - IM BACK ON MY REVIEW AFTER 2 YEARS, TO INFORM YOU GUYS THAT MY INTERNET IS DOWN SINCE 9 DAYS AND HASNT BEEN RESOLVED .
