Diu town sits at the east end of the island. The northern side of the island facing gujarat. Diu has a major architectural landmarks including three churches, fort, fortness of panikota, gangeshwar temple and many more. Diu was a portuguese colony until took over by india.


And it has some influence of portuguese culture. Diu main industries are fishing, tourisom and salt. Diu is best known as place that mixes tradition with modernity.  People of diu freindly and peaceful. Its really amazing visit to me and my family in diu.
