It was a hit movie of the year.and kept the record for very long years for many catogories. I think its still running in MARATHA MANDIR Theatre in Mumbai Central.
All 7 songs were superb! I watch the movie in theatre for the first time and several times in TV. I love the song "RUK JA O Dil Deewane" very much and'Tuhje Dekha To" too. The cute dialogues of Shahrukh Khan "i hate girls" and the action upon the dialogues and the cute naughty things done by him make us laugh and will feel like we are there with them.Such a wonderful movie of Yashraj films and directorial debut of Aditya Chopra, the elder son of Yash Chopra.
When I think about Europe, I remember this movie.such a wonderful cinematography, all the actors did their role giving 100%. Even the Kajol's aunt, Himani Shivpuri was superb.i mean all performed well. Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Anupan Kher, Kajol, and all are competing each other to get the full score. The villiam Parmeet Sethi too was good. till the last moment, we never expect that Amrish Puri loose Kajol to go with Shahrukh. That shows the love of a father towards his daughter.
Shahrukh style of calling fathers as'pops' was a fashion that time.even me too call my pappa like that. If it telecast today too in any channel, I will be there to watch the movie.never feel bore watching this movie.thats the success of "DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE".
