This movie is about 3 friends Akash (Aamir Khan), Sameer (Saif Ali Khan), & Siddharth (Akshay Khanna) & the love in their lives. Set in modern India, the film starts with Sid rushing around in a hospital & then the story unfolds in flashbacks.
Akash is the cool guy whose idea of marriageis one with a partner who lets him lead his own life & she leads hers with no conflicts. Sameer is the comical one who believes in rushing into relationshipsevery two weeks, almost like a trial & error type, until he finds the girl he wants to settle down with. Siddharth is the more serious, introverted fella who is always reflectingon life & doesn't believe that age is a barrier when it comes to finding your true love!
Preity Zinta as Shalini( Aamir Khan's girlfriend ), lives up to her name & looks pretty in the movie. Sonali Kulkarniis a good match for Sameer. Dimple Kapadiaas Sid's older friend exudes charm & portrays the role of a divorced woman with elan.
Direction by debutant Farhan Akhtaris excellent & there were no glitches in the film. Wish there were more movies of this kind that one could see & enjoy!
