DOOM. Review on Dhoom - Bollywood

Veer Zara trailor is unimpressive..SRK looks very weak...priety is good..but the trailor looks like DDLG part 2..anyways

Coming to Doom I mean DHOOM..i kindly request yash chopra productions to make crappy love stories rather than these kinda nonsense action flicks..

Dhoom is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi who earlier directed Mere yaar ki shaadi hai..that flick was a decent one.. I was really surprised with the climax..

Dhoom is produced by the gr8 adithya chopra..hats off to him he has given everything he could in term of monetary value but the story and the direction spoils his efforts..

STORY

Four robbers led by Kabir( John Ebrahim) rob the bank and escape from the cops thanks to their lovely dangerously fast bike..and they act as pizza delivery boys when not attempting to rob anyone..

Jai(Abhishek Bachchan) is entrusted with the job of nabbing these anti social elements..

Ali (Uday Chopra) a pucca tapori kinda guy well his slang is tapori but he is a mechanic who is also a bike rider..

Few misunderstanding takes place between Ali and Jai but later they are sorted out and Ali helps Jai to capture these robbers.

Later Kabir calls up Jai and challenges him stating that he would rob the chief ministers charity fund on so and so date and time if Jai captures him its all over but if he fails then he has to move out of the police force..

But Jai fails and how he along with Ali make a plan to nab down these robbers are told in a funny manner by the director...

His role is badly handeled by the director..But one thing is for sure he has improved very well and I guess he is already a superstar but the only formality for him is to give a BIG HIT. imagine: shabana azmi tells that award winning films are not watched by audience..then abhi will be the first to react telling then all my films are award winning ones..lol

John Ebrahim

This guy is really cool... I luved his role in this film..he plays a negative character and has given his 100%.. This one is indeed one of his better works..

Uday chopra Hey uday too can act!!!!His interactions with abhi and esha are kewl he makes us laugh the only good this about this film is his comic...Good job Uday!!!

Rimi sen

Rimi sen has said in an interview that she is thankful to chopras for making her look glamoures and sexy.. indeed she is hot..and the introduction song Sikdum with abhi will be luved by front benchers.. She was virtually absent in second half and her dialogues with Uday make us smile..but most of her dialogues are in Bengali...

Esha Deol aahhaaa here comes OUR favourite esha deol..Mark my words she looks like W W F Wrestler in dhoom machlay song..lol I cant understand what she speak she doesnt know how to speak nor does she know how to act...

Music The only saving grace in this film is the music composed by Pritam in fact all the song are good to hear(u can view my dhoom music review..lol)..especially shikdum,choom machlay..

Cinematography , choreography are good..special effects are terrific..Actions especially the climax scene is good..

Direction well sanjay has tried to do something different but has failed..infact Dhoom is stylish but without proper script the film is ruined..

BOX OFFICE VERDICT: Though this movie doesnt deserve to be a HIT but since its a yashraj film anything might happen an the budget of the film is supposed to be 4 crores only....this might also be abhishkek's first success..maybe!!!

should one see this movie??? if u are fascinated with bikes and want to watch a stylish film then go ahead...

caution: plz do not attempt to drive the bike as shown in the film or else you will be in graveyard
