Dexters is a new restaurant in CDA area of Cuttack.Visited with my cousins on 15th Feb 2017.
Location: In sector 11. Easy to locate if you take the Naraj road.Used Google maps to reach here.
Exterior Appearance: As on 15th Feb 2017 it is the only part of the four storyed complex that is operational.Rest of the complex is under construction.Dexters is in the ground floor.
Interior Design: Excellent theming.There are 2 blocks that are modelled like a prison. A few normal blocks are there and a few blocks with modern design.Really liked the overall interior theming.
Ordering and Staff Behaviour: We took one of the prison blocks.The staff served water immediately and the manager came to take the order within a minute.So waiting time for placing the order was minimum.
Food Serving time and Quality: Food was good.Prawns and fish preparation was above average.It was served within 30 minutes.
Did not provide cold water: Although it was quite hot outside the waiter informed us that they do not have chilled water.In a hot and humid place like Cuttack this is simply unacceptable.I have deducted one star due to this reason.
Only one washroom: Has only one restroom and during peak time it is not enough.
Overall View: Good food, friendly staff and great interiors.But management must take care of the little issues like availability of chilled water and adequate number of restrooms.4 out of 5 stars.
