I was fascinated by the look and feel of the Dell monitor, As I saw its first unboxing on Ur Indian consumer channel. And, that when I made my mind to go for this monitor. I ordered it from flipkart and guess what, though the box package said clearly that it would have a VGA as well as a HDMI cable. But I did not get so. The VGA cable was missing.
I did not pay attention to the VGA cable because my laapy did not have one. So, I just plugged in with the laptop and setup with my monitor. I can say with a price tag of 8500 inr . It's a good LCD monitor for work. earlier I have a thought of getting a HP monitor but I decided to go for this because it did have 2 3-Watt speaker on it. I love the look and feel even the installation is pretty clear to me.
I called dell toll free no. to check my S/L no. and for warranty support they have assisted me well with 3- years warranty on the product. I can now look into the big screen casted from my laptop. But here I want to express one thing that would refrain you buying this monitor.
I work on a study table and I kept my monitor 40-50 cm away almost but I Can see the pixelation all over the screen. its a full hd panel even my laptop has the full hd screen. I don't know it might be a issue with my unit I got but I can see the pixelation along with some yellow tint all over the screen. I intimated this to dell, they said its normal and my monitor is working fine. Almost working for 2 hours at least I get these strong headache and feel strain on my eyes, which I don't feel good. The blacks are good and colour appears good with that unavoidable yellow tint on the screen.
This might be reason I can all of you not to go with this monitor. Better look for some better LG or Samsung products.
