Your child is totally unsafe here. I am an impacted parent - read below.
My child (Grade 6, DSPS - Anjanapura) was physically beaten twice by schoolteachers Physics teacher (Banu) beat him on spine and computer teacher (Jagadamba) struck him behind the neck. Do have look at the Physics teacher who appears like a policeman with raised moustache.
I did warn the Physics teacher during PTM not to touch my child one more time and raise a complaint to Coordinator.
Despite of previous complaints, my child was Physically beaten again by Computer teacher and upon he is crying, Principal Ciny verbally threatened the child and denied to call parents when the boy of 11 years requested out of helplessness.
I raised complaint and school did not respond for the first 2 days. Later they inform me as action has been taken against computer teacher. No action was taken against Principal against the verbal threat administered to the child.
I have asked for higher ups to involve as it's not logical to entrust Principal who herself created the issue. With my push, they managed a person Mahesh (claimed as School Coordinator) of Principal choice, and he made all attempt to justify the Principal as I have suspected during my visit to school. That discussion turned to be an argument and later Principal challenged me as you do whatever possible at your end.
School do not disclose any contact details of higher ups to parents. Such a manipulative Principal itself is a real threat to kids and parents.
I later mailed to all higher ups of Dayananda Sagar University and no revert seen.
They have limited transport resource and make your child travelling all through the roads for many hours on a daily basis. When I questioned, they mentioned as school is making loss and you have to cooperate - your child's health is at risk. There was another incident of a small kid slipped to road from school bus which was witnessed by my child - Principal declined this when I brought that to her notice and she claimed as my son is lying !!!.
They show you a beautiful swimming pool - I had to take my child to an outside academy to teach swimming since no proper coach/coaching delivered to students there.
Parent's - time to review what's going on with your child at DSPS.
Justice is denied to child and parent by all means.
