Videocon d2h is a fraud company and worst customer service I have seen. They focus only on money not taking any steps to customer's problem. I won't suggest anyone to take Videocon d2h.
Why do I so? I am using their connection and some days back I got call from customer care by saying there is a chanal named Bollywood Indie(320) and we can watch the latest movies in Tamil or Malayalam and I have told them to activate it and they have activated the same but was audio is in Hindi. I told the person that there is Tamil or Malayalam is coming and asked me to switch off the TV and switch on and try but still I did not get the preferred audio language. Then they said try after some time and if not call to the customer care no 9902899028 and disconnected the call.
As I was busy with work I have called them later and one Miss Lavaniya has attended my call and she has instructed me to change the language but that particular channel not changed but changed the home screen language to Tamil. Since she was not able to help me I have asked to transfer the call to TL or manager but she said don't have option to transfer the call and will arrange a call back but after arround 10days also no one called me. Today one person has called from Videocon d2h for annual pack activation. Then I have told him the issue and he also tried to change the language but couldn't able to change the channal language. Then I have told him to deactivate the channel and give the refund as I have not used at all and couldn't view the channel in preferred language but he told me to call to above same customer care number. I have called and same person Ms.Lavaniya has picked up the phone and I have told her you have committed manager call but not done.. without even apologizing on the same she asked me the issue and I have told her if you are not able to change the channal language to Tamil or Malayalam deactivate the channel and refund.
Then she said that she will deactivate the channel and don't have option to give refund. Then I have asked to transfer the call to manager. She said there is option to transfer the call..when I kept on requesting she kept dead air and there was no response. Then again I have called to CC and Ms.Saranya has taken the call and I have asked her to transfer the call to manager. She too said manager not available and no option to transfer the call. Then she said will transfer the call to TL. Then she transferred the call to Ms.Athira. She handled the call worse than the L1 executive. While speaking I have used few English words she said it is Malayalam customer care and if wants to speak in English transfer the call to English department.
I have asked he being a team leader don't you know English but she is saying it is not none of my business.
Then I have spoken to her in Malayalam and also said in the say that connection is deactivated and no option to refund. I have told her also transfer the call to manager but she also said no option to transfer the call to manager.
How can be run a company with having option to speak to manager? I have been working in customer service more than 18 years but I have not seen any company doing so irresponsibly.
I told Athira I am going to update in social media about your poor customer service but she is not all bothered about.
Call to Airtel D2H and Videocon customer care you will see the difference. How well Airtel is taking care of their customer. If we ask to transfer the call to manager or above they will do it and they never say no option to transfer the call to manager. If no option, manager will come and take calls.
With this worse experience, I am going to disconnect the Videocon service and take Airtel connection.
