Hello all, today iam going to share my review on videocon DTH which is one of the few DTH services available.


My customer ID - 96549149


Videocon is one of the known brand and hence I have bought last year and till now I was using super gold pack which cost me around 285rs/month present rate which includes most of the channels, along with any south indian pack which is quite costly but managable and hence was using same super gold pack from the date I bought.


Every time I use to reacharge on 22nd of every month and same done this months as well. So videocon has done some real nice game here super gold pack includes channel tensport 1 on pack now they have removed it without notifying me or any of them if you are one using videocon DTH along with super gold pack please turn on channel number-411 and you can see it shows error message as no subscription please recharge.


So I have called to customer care today with the number listed + 91 9115691156 and spoke to niveditha first and explained about my issue and was really upset with the response. I asked why the channel was not up? They said it was now transfered to addition payable pack and if you want you need to recharge with 22rs/month, per channel. iam only talking about tensport1 which is channel number-411 on videocon DTH. Then I asked representative when it included in the super gold pack when I recharge how can it be removed without notifying us.? Then respresentative said per communication all of the super gold pack memer has removed few channels and moved to paid version. As soon she respond I asked why this happen in between plan not the before and after rechage.? She has no response and transferred my call to supervisor.


My question again was same with the supervisor arunkumar how can you remove channel tensport1 without notification that to after recharge. Again I was not happy with the response supervisor of Videocon DTH said me they have sent a popup message through settop box. I really wonder is this the proper way of communicating customers? When you have saved our mobile number along with gmail id registered and Videocon sent removing channels through popup msg? Are you such limited?


After long time conversation finally supervisor revealed the truth that they got email and notified of removing tensport1 from the super gold pack to paid version on 25th november and as soon as they get they had no time to communicate customer and hence they have sent popup message on 27th of november also he said sorry sir we are working as communication from videocon DTH head and nothing in our hand.


I totally agree nothing in customer care hands rather I blame this problem to the videocon higher department has no proper planning either communication to the customer or the removing of channels without customer getting notified. And sending such a cost cutting way of popup message to get the customer notified? Cant you have time to send atleast a message to the registered number? Or the register mail well in advance so that we would have planned on our recharges. I ask videocon how can you implement removing channels on single night, pack version to paid version.?


Finally, I asked supervisor to raise a complaint to respective department again I totally disappointed with the response as he stated, sorry sir we have no option to take complaints on superior as their decision is final. So I ask videocon DTH again why dont we have option to justify. Whatever you do is final? Customer is not just need to recharge and see whaterver you provide please keep in mind.


Videocon DTH really need to work on notification well in advance prior removing any channels from the pack we recharge. Not that after recharging, after calling customer care we get notified that pack removed so and so date please recharge to resume channel are you playing.?


I have decided 22nd of december going to get my new DTH other than videocon and going to discontinue videocon DTH as very poor customer communications. Final word to videocon DTH -Really disappointed.
