I hate Australian Cricketing attitude

Cricket used to be GAME of GENTLEMEN. No more..... And the credit, to a large extent goes to Aussies.

Here is a flavour of Australian attitude.....

(1) Murali, Shoaib, Chauhan chuck but Brett? NEVER.

(2) Saurav delays toss... Steve cries foul. Aussies comments & physical contacts during match? well .... It is all in the game.

(3) Shane & Mark call up bookies to give weather report. Hence the question of punishment does not arise. But Azhar, Ajay, Waqar, Wasim calling Bookies> Must be to FIX the match. And action MUST be taken!

(4) Shane takes drugs because he is stupid. If anyone from Asia does....he is a cheater.

Aussies, by their double standards and sledging have brought the game bad name.

They may be better players. but they are certainly not better human beings. I recall what Arjuna Ranatunga said, '' we (Asians) need not take lessons of culture from yu (Aussies).''

However hard the game be, one can always play it on the pitch and without verbal abuses.

Just 2 days back, a CLUB LEVEL match in Australia had to be abandoned as the OPENERS walked off dues to excessive sledging by opponents.

If this is case in nursery of cricket (All cricketers graduate through this level. Is it not?) then no wonder Aussies behave the way they do.

I would rather prefer teams like Kenya and West Indies, who play the game in true spirit and ENJOY it.

It is not war my friends....... It is only Cricket!
