I am extremely frustrated and disappointed to write this within my first week of using CD app. I have been incorrectly charged for several items, and your "Big Pay Day" promotion has deceptively charged from my VIP benefit allowance which is not shown while ordering(screenshot attached)
Yesterday I specifically selected fruits and vegetables with a total cost of Rs. 89 in order to utilize Rs 233 of my available VIP membership balance of Rs. 237.
However, despite the order falling well within my VIP allowance, I have been charged an additional amount contrary to the expected benefit.
(1) Mischarged on Banana - which was shown at Rs23 instead of Rs.46.40 charged
(2) Pomegranate - which was shown at Rs. 32 instead of Rs. 91 charged
I did not agree to purchase these items while ordering at these increased charges - as they are much higher than market price.
Furthermore, while placing my "Big Pay Day" order, there was absolutely NO indication that my VIP benefits would be consumed or unavailable(see attached screenshot). This lack of transparency is highly misleading and unacceptable. I have been mischarged on the following items
(1) Rice Flour Rs. 42 instead of Rs. 20 - Total 84' instead of 40
(2) Salt - Rs 106 instead of Rs. 46.
I did not agree to purchase these items while ordering at these increased charges - as they are much higher than market price
-> When attempting a normal order after already using a portion of my VIP balance, your system provides clear warnings about either insufficient remaining VIP credit or needing to pay extra
->However while ordering through the Big Pay Day promotion, there was no mention of VIP benefits being utilized suggesting this is a special offer. I could make order from Big Pay Day without any warning of either exhausting my VIP balance or needing to pay extra than the ordered value.
This discrepancy in system behavior highlights a concerning technical issue in which without my knowledge - I did not agree to purchase these items while ordering at these increased charges - as they are much higher than market price
The combination of overcharging and confusing technical difficulties has completely eroded my trust in Country Delight. I request an immediate resolution to this matter. This includes:
-> A full refund for the unwarranted charges on my recent order.
(1) Mischarged on Banana - which was shown at Rs23 instead of Rs.46.40 charged
(2) Pomegranate - which was shown at Rs. 32 instead of Rs. 91 charged
(3) Rice Flour Rs. 42 instead of Rs. 20 - Total 84' instead of 40
(4) Salt - Rs 106 instead of Rs. 46
(5) Packaging charge of Rs. 19 - there was no charge of this while making the order due to being within VIP membership benefit.
-> There needs to Clear and transparent communication on how your VIP membership interacts with promotional offers like Big Pay Day - as no mention of VIP benefit is made on this page.
I expect prompt and thorough attention to these issues for refund to reinstate my trust. If a satisfactory solution is not provided, I will have no choice but to cancel my subscription and escalate this complaint further on social media, through YouTube videos and management.
