Madhur Bhandarkar is indeed one of the most skillful director of recent times as the kind of topic he picks is not everyones cup of tea. Chandni Bar, Page 3 are not easy to make. He makes a movie for mass with a subject of class. But corporate stands out from his makings and unlike previous ones this one wont be able to pull the mass because of the subject.
Well you can only pull educated people who are well versed with the terminologies used by a business man in his day to day life.
Movie:- Story about two giant corporates
Well no matter you show a notice of non resemblance at the beginning of the movie people are smart enough to make out that the movie is made on the cola-war between Pepsi and Coca cola.
The pesticide incident, launch of the blue colour drink etc are self explanatory. The best part of the movie is the last 15 minutes at the climax as the whole movie is a normal paced one but the pace increases when the secrets are unfold at the end which thrills the audience.
Fact : - Aishwarya Rai was offered the role of Bipasha Basu
Performances: -
Mind blowing performances by everyone.
KayKay Menon's acting tells us that his best is yet to come. His role as Riteish here has thankfully not been given a gray shade compared to Deewar and Sarkar.
Bipasha Basu's best performance ever and we have to wait to see her name atleast in the nomination list of the best actress for her role.
Music: - The only thing which can lift or pull a movie is its music. Page 3 had two of the best tracks that year while nill for Corporate.
Overall a worth watching movie only if you are or have been for some time as either an employee or an employer in an organization. Give it a try if you like reality based movies
