Me and my wife planned a holiday at Landsdowne in May 2017 and we got a best deal from Make my trip at Corbett Hill Resort - Palkot. When we spoke to them over the phone from Delhi, I categorically said that I would need the hill side view room which should be good and spacious for two people. We would be spending two nights there and should not have any problem. Booking id ID NH2003350737209
The representative from Delhi was so generous that she assured that the stay would be awesome and guaranteed the hill side view room. We reached on the 27th May and below were our experiences:
Room Quality: First of all we had to wait for 30 minutes as the receptionist said that the house keeping is cleaning the room. Finally we got the room and to our surprise the room was so small that there was no enough space to even keep our language. We asked the person that this was not the room that was shown to us during the booking, the person said that that room has already been given to someone else. After arguing for an hour we finally got a different room. When we entered the bed was filled with flies and the bathroom was stinking. Guest Service: The people over there was so rude that they didn't even bothered to feel sorry about the services they provided us instead asked us to leave if we didn't like the resort. We called one person Mr. Gaurav who was in touch with us from Delhi and he said that he is the owner of the resort, he was so rude to us that he asked us to leave
Food and Presentation: The very same night we called the room service at 9 PM and ordered food, till around 9:45 the people didn't even knew that we have ordered food, there was a hell lot of kiosks for almost an hour and me and my wife had to sleep without having any food that night. Mr. Aditya came forward to help us but we were so frustrated and pissed off that we asked him to arrange our check out in the morning.
Ambience: The entry to the resort was so pathetic that only an expert driver can drive through the way down the hill. The road was so scary that anyone could slip down the hill. No street light
Value for money: It is not at all value for money, they cheat, very bad customer service. We had to check out the very next day.
Please do not go for this resort in your life.
