On a friend's recommendation, we happen to drive to this place one day as we were looking for a restaurant for meal on a weekday. As we drove closer, a huge signboard caught our attention on a white color building which looked more like a shabbily built structure, from outside.

To be honest, we weren't impressed with it's outside looks. It looked to be like a guest house and wondered if there are any customers here. However, as we moved further, closer to the place, we saw many cars parked around and what caught our attention were two high end cars parked-an Audi and a BMW, we thought there must be something about this place.

As we entered here - the place looked very plush and beautiful from inside. Very spacious, ground+1 setup with lot of aesthetically done interiors.

The restaurant is at Porvorim, about 6-7kms from Panjim. It is at Chogum road. From O'Coquero junction, take Chogum Road going to Calangute, milestone is Baker's street, once you pass it, the restaurant is to your right. Building has space for your vehicles to be parked.

The best part of the restaurant is its setup! As I mentioned above, it's decent and plush, Big screen TVs on the walls and a catchy ceiling with stairs lighted with LED lights. Tables well laid out catering to everyone's needs and privacy. One can also host Birthday/anniversary/events and any such sort private parties. It was told to us that this place is run and managed by the same management of Dawaat restaurant in Panjim.

Menu is  typical with vast choice of Indian, Goan, Chinese and interestingly few Bengali dishes. Bar menu has all sorts of standard cocktails, mocktails, wines and other regular drinks. We had Fish thaalis, Prawns batter fried, Chicken Lolipop, Kulchas, Chicken Korma, Biryani. Chicken was well cooked, no complaints on the quality part.

The restaurant manager will greet you at the entrance with a big smile and there will be waiters waiting for you to ensure you settle in well. I was surprised to see that, though the restaurant has opened up recently - it got crowded as time passed by.

Only downside was food took pretty longer to arrive and their Menu says, give 20-25 minutes to serve you hot food. So, make sure by the time you order starters, you also plan for the main course.

Price was ok. The main dish - Fish thaali, which is usually preferred by locals during lunch time was very economically priced at just Rs.150!

The restaurant has opened up very recently, in the month of January and is doing very well, if you are around - I would recommend visiting them.
