I bought a power adapter for my Alienware M17xR3 from Compuindia.
Compuindia offers a power adapter 150Watt for rs 2590 compatible for; Alienware M14 Alienware M14x Alienware M15x Alienware M17x Alienware M17x R3. See link below:

On first day use, the power adapter it is NOT charging the battery. Battery icon says: Plugged in, not charging.
Even the power adapter is supposed to be compatible for the Alienware M17xR3 according to their website, the Dell support team confirmed by phone communication that it is not compatible. Conversation has been recorded from my side.
So I ask for help from the Dell support team and they link me to Compuindia Support team. Here their answer:

Please be informed as said earlier the product is new inventory as product comes under manufacturer warranty as kindly register the complaint and be in touch with Dell tech support for the same and if you receive same response kindly note the executive details and share the same with us.
Note: there is no return or replacement if the product is not compatible.

Mind blowing! Compuindia sells a power adapter who is compatible according to their website for the Alienware M17xR3, but will refuse to return or replace if it is not compatible!
Is it possible to be more dishonest?!

This is to inform you that the AC adapter - CN0H1NV4724385191169A03 is Out of Warranty as per our Records.
The Manufacture Date is on January 9, 2015 and 2 years 3 months 17 days is the Age of the AC Adapter.
The box of the parcel has different manufacturing information! 3 December 2016.
My guess is that Compuindia has put a new but old power adapter into the box of a new power adapter and this is what I received!
Or maybe it is me who made pictures of an old power adapter(who looks brand new!) to try to be refunded of a not working new one. Sorry but that wouldn't fit in my dharma!
With all the 1 star ratings been given to Compuindia on Mouthshut(15% positive rating), I guess the ratings speak by themselves to who is honest or not!
I highly recommend you to avoid buying anything from Compuindia!
Very polite Dell Support Team phone support, but still no positive and honest resolution. The Dell support team will guide you from one support person to another, then back and forth to Compuindia and Dell, etc. Well organized system it seems!

Today afternoon I received the visit of the courier who delivered the power adapter. He recovered the power adapter with the packing box and it will be sent back to Compuindia. I haven't been refunded yet! I made a picture of the power adapter with recovery invoice before it was taken by the courier person.
Let's see!
My guess is that it helped to sent the Mouthshut link of my 1 star review to Dell and Compuindia!
Have upgraded to 3 stars! I wouldn't be honest if I didn't acknowledge this last event!

Downgraded to 1 star! The power adapter was returned to Compuindia almost 3 weeks ago with receipt of reception.
Still today I have not been refunded!
