Competition success review is a well known name in the field of monthly magazine that helps especially student to prepare for their competition exam. No doubt, their content variation and profundity regarding the current issues/news are widely accepted. Their previous question banks helps student to go through varieties of questions and their solutions. Their MBA magazine which comes free with their magazine gives various information regarding B-school and also it helps in every section of entrance test from first round to GDPI and College selection preparation.

They are reasonable in cost too. They are more reasonable in cost when you subscribe for this product. While their monthly stall price is RS 60, it Costs you around only RS 30 per month when you subscribe them (even you will get General knowledge Year book for FREE**).

Are you too eager to subscribe this product???

Just a minute, please wait….. Let me tell you benefits I faced first….

After hearing lot about them, I made a plan to subscribe this magazine. I checked out their web https://competitionreview.com. There was no any option to pay through internet. So for this I had to send them a demand draft. Such a classical option for well-known magazine… Still, I thought its ok!!!

I send them the demand draft of particular amount and in next 10 days, I received a confirmation sms in my mobile regarding my subscription.

TOO late and unreliable delivery---

While their magazine for the particular month comes 15/20 days ahead of the month (For example their August issue is out in the stall before 15th July) but for the subscribers they start sending only after the beginning of the actual month.

Their Mode of delivery is Indian Post and through which they send it as normal letter/booklet. (I guess we all know how reliable Indian post for the normal post is). This means neither they are going to get delivery report (Perhaps for this they are never interested) nor there is the assurance that subscriber will get the magazine. (God only knows if post-man are really honest with their work regarding delivery and lets not discuss about post-man here).

But another question is, are they actually sending all those issues to subscribers? If they are sending then why subscribers residing in city area too are not getting? The courier charge for bulk material is similar (or very negligible difference) to normal postal charge of RS 5. If they really had a guts or honesty to deliver the product, why don’t they send it from courier?

Since my subscription, 3 issues of magazine has arrived in book stall and I’ve got only one issue and the same happened with one of my friend who had subscribed a week after me.

The free GK year book which I was supposed to get, I’ve still not got them till today. I tried informing their complaint helpline number 011-45113300 a month ago and a representative himself confirmed that GK year book is yet to be send to me (while my friend who has subscribed it after me had got it a month back).

So with all these Unreliable and late delivery, it makes such a good brand a reason of anger and frustration among customer.

No place to complaint or communicate.

Their landline number which they put in magazine for customer communication, they never receive the call. In my regular attempt of last two months, my phone has been received twice (one of them was in the lunch-break) and the other time where a representative assured me that he will deliver magazine to me but it never proved correct. For all the problem/issues, we should communicate to Delhi office only which never responses.

And I think if we hope that they will ever reply to our mail, it will be just another day-dreaming.

AND THE GREATEST LOSS FOR THE SUBSCRIBER IS THAT THEY SEND IMCOMPLETE MATERIAL

For the magazine of August Issue which I got, (and for the July Issue which my friend got), we realized that they send incomplete material. They send only the main magazine and not other adjacent magazine which they provide to buyer in stall. I bought the magazine especially for the MBA booklet and question paper booklet which they haven’t provided to me. It is like a fraud selling where you sell the booklet/magazine through hidden condition.

Morever, they never stated in any of their columns that subscriber will get only the main portion of magazine.

With all these frustration, I felt buying the product through stalls would have been much better and reliable than subscribing them.

Competion Success Review is indeed a very good magazine but it is worst for those people who subscribe it. So, my advice is Never Subscribe COMPETITION SUCCESS REVIEW.

(I may get many NU for this review, but this is what I faced. And I can’t stop asking myself, “why all these happens with my only?”)
