I have purchased a COMPAQ Presario V 3700 Notebook
PC Serial No: 2CE8080B8R,
Product No: KPI 52PA#ACJ,
Warranty Start Date 10/06/2008 and
Service ID: 18160 from
Compaq /HP retailer , Aashnik Incorporated at Vadodara on 10 th June’2008. During demonstration of PC at the retailer’s shop, I have noticed that the key board left side being projected upwards compared to right side. To my query, they informed that after few days use, it will get levelled. ( IBM enhanced (101-102-key) keyboard. New technology from Mars I believe.
During the month of September, two key buttons have fallen off and I tried to place it back on the slot but could not. In this regard, I have registered a complaint online and I have been given a Complaint Identification Number ( please read below)

"Passion for Customers"
As suggested by him, contacted above numbers and after putting me on hold for 3 minutes, they conveyed their inability and asked me to contact HP online customer service.
I tried to reach Mr V.Sekhar and he is missing in action. What a dismay!. This is the way brand like COMPAQ/HP to behave ?. They have paid a hefty amount to SRK for endorsing the product and only this way they can cut corners to minimize lose.
Since there was no response from any of those numbers provided, I have contacted

As suggested by him, contacted 03323407400 and found its recorded message and it would be of no use to me.
Now let HP/COMPAQ answer-
1.Why the retailer is not taking the responsibility to get the matter resolved?
Why HP/COMPAQ is taking customer for a joy ride asking him to contact several numbers which would not result any positive action? Do they know whats Passion for Customers?
Why the manufacturer is so careless about the service after sales?
My notebook key buttons falling like grand old nanny’s teeth’s - like over riped plums.
They have paid an hefty amount for SRK for endorsing this product and this is the only way they can minimise the cost incured by - No service after Sales strategy.
In my opinion, the product is manufactured in China for cost reduction purpose n their is no QUALITY.
