This feedback is exclusively related to Dr.George Alexander's treatment of a 80 yr old, diabetic patient.
Let me sum up our experience at this center (Dr.George) on 7th Jan. We had an appointment for Endoscopy at 8:30 am.
Time:
Appointment for Endoscopy done on 6th Jan Appointment for Endoscopy: 7th Jan 8:30 am Dr. is available: at 9 am Patient is made to enter the procedure room at about 9:10 am after repeated followups.
Information Availability:
Neither the patient nor I am (the support person) provided with any aspect of the Endoscopy/procedure/that needs to be anticipated after the process. Nor the forms are duly filled in prior to the process; but am made to sign up the papers in the name of formality. Consent forms are neither filled in with particulars nor doctor has signed
Nurses:
While supportive, they are highly reactive and disorganized including the doc.
Basics:
Wish the overall experience is made more pleasant being organised, attention and pleasant disposition of the doc. We felt that the doc is neither is neither prepared for appointment nor could engage the patient. Nor can even reciprocate the basic courteous greetings. Wish this department emulates the calm and composed disposition of Dr.Rupesh Kalyan who has assisted in the process.
Facilities:
There is not even a basin to help the patient when she is puking.
Suggestion:
Seek the appointment with Dr.Rupesh Kalyan or any other doctor in gastro department.
