The Colgate Pain Out Gel retails for Rs 50. This product is not for children below 6 years. From 6-12 years use under adult supervision. It is an oral ( dental) analgesic "leave on"gel with a sustained release formulation. This product does not cures the dental problem, it just provides a temporary relief for shorter periods of time. For cure, one must visit a dentist. It has the combination of key ingredients like eugenol, menthol and camphor in a bio adhesive polymer matrix. It tastes absolutely disgusting. It may be due its ingredients or formulae. I had a toothace and brought this colgate pain out gel for relief from tooth pain. I took one drop on my finger and directly applied on the painful area. Don't expect quick result and the results are minor in effect. It has a small tube like pakaging, nothing fancy. Overall I don't think it's suitable for all types of pain. For major extreme pains it would not work at all and for minor pains it would work but for temporary. So it's of no use. I suggest to directly consult the dentist because they prefer better ideas for cure and would be 100% safe.
