Pathetic experience ever. Review on Club Retreat Hospitality, Mohali

The members of Club Retreat invited me to a Hotel to join them as they have some vouchers for 2 nights and 3 days free stay of my own choice destination and some other discount coupons they will give at the time of the meeting which will be approx for just 30 min in which they will tell us about their company. When I with my wife & daughter reached the venue at TNG hotel Patiala, one of their representative Ms. Prerna meet us and greet very formally. Then she started telling us about the co. and forcing us to take 25 years package for around 2.5-3 lacs in which they will provide us 5-star properties in India and abroad. I did not convinced by her and rejected the proposal and signed the rejection form too.

Then Ms. Prerna called up her Manager Monika who again start convincing us to take the minimum package. I told them that I have already planned a Massorie trip in the next 10 days and later a Dubai trip after 2 months. Then they both started seducing us and showing us the 4-5 star properties in both locations. However, I still did not trust them and refused again to take the package from them. After a while, Monika & Prerna sit aside and had a talk among themselves and again came to our table and said Sir, we have a great plan for you which we do not give to everyone and that is we will give you a 5-year plan for just Rs. 55000/- with no any other charges.

They promised us that they will provide us the 4-star property in our upcoming Massorie vacations and later 5-star properties in our Dubai Trip which was pre-planned by my family. Even Ms. Monika who is working with Club Retreat offered me Club Mahindra properties as she told me that before joining the club retreat he had served with the Mahindra club. Both of them showed us a lot of paradises. By then they both have ruined our 2 hours. We came to their senses and make the payment to them after getting assurance that both the upcoming trips will be memorable. On next day when I called up Ms. Prerna and asked her to send me the property details as we will be going on 5th Feb 2021 to Massorie.

She then told me to put a mail to club retreat and they will send us the details on mail. I put a mail to club retreat and next day they offered me to choose a hotel from the 2 hotels they showed me on mail. I was stunned when I saw the hotel reviews online. they had to offer us 3rd class properties comparing to the assurance of 4-5 star hotels at the time of joining their club. Then I again called up Ms. Prerna & Ms. Monika but both refused and said this time they have only these properties and you have to choose from these only. Next time we will give you the best properties. Then I talked to their Manager Relations Department Mr. Vishal he also said that he cannot do anything and assured me that our Dubai Trip will be memorable. By then I understood that this company is cheating me.

On 29th-30th Jan I send a mail to Club retreat, mail to Vishal Sharma to terminate my membership and refund my money. The next day I got a mail from them that they will deduct 32% from the money deposited and the refund will be made within 90 days from the date of termination request. Whereas they didn't clear the deduction things on the first day of the meeting. then they said this is written in the agreement which I signed. Anyhow, I asked them to deduct and pay the rest money within 90 days of my request. I have been sending them emails, whats app to release my refund for approx. 5 months but no one listened to me. Then I approached the companies Director Mr. Ajay Verma who assured me that the refund will be made in a week as he is out of station then. Again and again, I was taken follow up from him on daily basis but every day he lingers on my requests with one pretext to others. Now after approx. 6 months I have got my money refunded after a deduction of 32% Flat.

This is the story all I have to make you people aware that please think 100 times before investing in this type of company. I have also moved an application to the court of Law and will file a criminal suit against all the concerned as they are cheating people. "BE AWARE "
