Mahindra Holidays and Resorts Cares
Mahindra Holidays and Resorts is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
The tents in Club Mahindra Kumbhalgarh are very nicely furnished with TV, fridge, AC, heaters, Tea/Coffee kettle, nicely done up bathroom, a great outside sitout and offer a breathtaking view of the Aravali hills. While off the beaten track, I would recommend this location for a holiday combined with Udaipur, Ranakpur, Shreenathji and Haldi Ghaati.
The resort in itself is very well maintained, the service is courteous and the food is good but very expensive.
The usual CM problems remain: You need a car of your own as taxis outside are expensive and apart from basic carrom, table tennis etc., there are no real activities at the resort.
You can hire a car at Kelwara village, 1.5 k.m. from CM and there are a few restaurants there serving excellent inexpensive, authentic Rajasthani food.
The New Year party at CM was expensive and boring as usual. They charge like a 5 star hotel in Mumbai or Kolkata but the organisation is poor.
But I guess if you are already a member and cannot do anything about it, you might as well make the most of it. As Confusious says. "If R is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it"
