I had been reading all reviews people got cheated by this CLUB JIVA but they did not get their money back. The same fraud happened with me but after a lot of efforts I MADE THEM PAY MY MONEY BACK.
On 2 Feb 2019, me and my wife went to goa for our anniversary celebration. We are roaming in our scooty near Bagha Beach where we met 2 people in scooty they give us scratch card saying that they are from Club Jiva and ask us to scratch the card. My wife got a suprise prize but they did not let us look into the card and said they will give back the card once we do an half hour Club Jiva presentation. So we went with them.
After reaching their hotel we met with their representative who took almost 3hr presentation and convince us to give them 60000 rs for 5-year membership. One more important thing is no mobile internet was working inside there hotel so we can not check about this Club Jiva. After returning to our own hotel at night around 10 pm we check on mobile internet about this Club Jiva and found it's a fraud. At that very moment, we dial 100 and lodge a complaint against this fraud they give us the nearest police station location so we at once rushed to police station there we told police everything happened to us.
They told us it's already very late at night we should come tomorrow morning. Again next morning we reached police station and file a diary against Club Jiva after that we met their police incharge who initially did not agree to help us saying it's our fault and we should take a lesson from it but after repeated requesting he finally took our case and assign it to a junior officer. Who then called the Club Jiva head of that area, as soon as police called Club Jiva head we started getting call from Club Jiva customer care pretending to help us to resolve the problem but I asked them to return my money at once.
After that customer care call their representative called me( whose phone got switched off the moment we paid the 60000 rs amount) asking me to come to their resort to solve the problem or misunderstating. He also threatened me by saying that police will not do anything. I thrash him on phone itself saying that I am recording his conversation and will lodge an FIR against him personally, after that no call came. After a long wait there head representative came( A LADY) again she started saying the same thing to come to their resort to solve the problem but we are adamant we told her to return the money at once but then she said she can not return it at once because the transaction was done one day earlier and POS MACHINE settled it so can not return it.
But we did not let her go we with police officer go to bank to confirm her claim about POS but bank people did not able to give any proper explanation maybe they got afraid that police got into there bank enquiring about all this so finally we can not get our money today but we can not let her go. So we decided that she should give us in writing that CLUB JIVA WILL GIVE OUR MONEY BACK on the same stamped paper which she had given us at the time of giving membership that also in front of police and this whole thing is video recorded on my camera. After two days on 5th Feb, we return to our state West Bengal.
Now we make a routine to call her every day ask about the process of refund if she did not pick call we use to WhatsApp her just asking about our refund if she did not return our call and messages few days in a row we use to call the police officer who was with us.
After 1 month of constant nagging and trying everything we were almost ready to give up but we again give a last chance we searched on internet consumer forum complain site and write our complaint in that. After a week again I called the police officer, to my surprise he said that CLUB JIVA people got furious and they are ready to give my money back but I have to remove my complaint from consumer forum site I at once told him that if they give my money back I will not proceed with my complaint or else I will have to go to consumer forum.
After almost a week of that incident, I finally got a mail with two attached photos from Club Jiva those photos contain pictures of two checks each of amount 30000.
Finally, on 10th April, I got my 60000 amount back into my account after such a hard fight.
