I have been banking with Citibank as a suvidha A/c customer for the last 5 yrs. So I thought I could share my experience with you all. I have also banked with ICICI, HDFC & AXIS. I have used many products of citiabnk till date & I would love to continue to bank with them. Infact my preferred banker.
Phone Banking
The best of all the banks in this service. Citiphone officers are well trained to handle any kind of situation and they can be of your utmost help when needed badly. All you have to do is to go thru the IVR before you landup with the officer. When you place any request to them and when they say 3 - 4 working days, they MEAN it.
ATM Service
I was in Bangalore when I was banking with Citibank. I coud almost spot an ATM in every other main road. But when I relocated to chennai. I couldn't see as many ATM's as I found in Bangalore. Might be bcoz customer base is less.
Internet Banking
The feature which I love the most. In todays busy life, you cannot spend time standing in banks Queue to do a transaction. Citibanks Internet banking is a breeze to use. I have used few others banks Intenet banking as well. It is totally hasslefree. All you need is your card number & IPIN to login. Your are bound for a new experience. Transferring money within the bank as well as to other banks is very gud in just few simple steps. Changing of address / Information for Credit card & Suvidha A/c is easy with the Online Authorization Code (OAC).
Personal Loans - Ready Cash / Ready Credit
Ready Cash : - I went thru a glance of customer ratings for this bank. I could hardly find people who have rated this bank better. I agree Opinion differs from person to person. But I would rate them high for their service. I had availed a peronal loan (Ready Cash) from them. They took just 48 hrs to do the verification & disburse the loan and credit the money to my A/c online. I was STUNNED by their service when other banks took more than 15 days to do the verification & disburse the loan. The % is on the steeper side. they are usually 2 -4 % higher than other banks. I don't crib for this. The kind of service you get for this % is really outstanding.
Ready Credit : - This is similar to an overdraft service. But comes @ a cost. Similar rate of % to personal loan.
Credit Cards - Pay lite / Balance Transfer
I have had as many as 3 credit cards from them and have been using fore close to 4 yrs. I have availed every feature associated with Credit cards. They are truly the best in the business.
I wish citibank continues to outclass other banks in every segment.
