I was searching for the best Chinese food in Bangalore. I searched over the internet and and found Chung Wah in my area.
We had ordered dumpling, schezwan fried rice, momos, chopsuey. I have requested for not much spicy but I don't know for what reason they made it too spicy we couldn't have it without water and we couldn't even complete the food. I found the momos not properly cooked the noodles in the chopsuey was hard.
The staff ignored even after requesting to cancel the chopsuey as we could not eat little of that. There was an incident where we had switched from one table to another even the staff couldn't help us to pick cover plates and water glass to the next table. I felt very embarrassed and stop where not at all courteous. We managed our plates and glasses on to the another table.
Then we ordered the food I mentioned above which really made us upset. Just because it is near to my place I visited it but it was really not a worth to visit and have food. Richest name and make an ambience like Chinese but they are really not like Chinese food. And the foods are so costly without a good quality.
The service over there was so bad that took approx 1 hour to serve our food. It's not like the place was crowded I guess hardly 4 groups will be available, but they took long time and that to they served the starters and the main course at a time. I asked them to keep the main course hot ones we complete the starters we would eat main course hot, but they refused so we had to have the main course and starters together.
It was really embarrassing for us because it was a treat of our friend and the restaurant ruined our evening. I always feel the well mannered staff the ambience and the taste of the food makes the restaurant unique. But after having a worst experience for Chinese food in Chung wah, I would think twice for trying in other restaurants.
