Was here (JP Nagar Bangalore)with my family and was seated at the corner place.
For our shocker, it was 1st the cockroach and then a rat.
Didn't say anything initially when we saw the Roache, thought it was one of the bad day's & continued eating. Then people next to our table pointed out the rat just behind us.
When we confronted the staff, they had all audacity to laugh it out & say that the rat will not come in and they cannot change the seating place since they are full.
Later my sister had to go find the manager (who was earlier a Jr. employee) requested us to wait for 5 mins & changed our places. On the other hand, our nearby tables who were eating quickly finished their food and didn't go for next course & so did we since the order was already on the table & didn't wanted to waste food but had to leave without having a full course meal.
BTW I'm a regular customer here since their inception days & would give referred 100s of my known people, celebrated many events therefore people who know me, know this place very well. But had stopped coming here bcoz the staff had grown bad attitude & arrogant. But used to order sitting back home.
Later I also heard the rat's complaints from my other friends who I've known or had been here after my recommendation. But thought something would have changed after many years and stepped in since the food here is something one craves for. No doubt about it.
Now realised these guys will never change.
Team Chulla Chuki, there is no point in demonstrating the awards, Food policy board, few positive reviews and smiling pictures of your customers... when you cannot even apologise for your mistakes and take care of your loyal customers. Whereas bigger brands to newcomer restaurants strive hard to make sure the place is tidy and clean to retain their customers and shell out enough money especially on hygiene.
Thanks for ruining my day with my family.
