Any one planning to buy a windows should think twice before selecting one. I will give some fast tips so that u could make good decisions in selecting one.

Windows 95:

The best OS MS had ever released. But I wont suggest to go for 95, because there are a lot of drawbacks to the 95. But from my experience, it proved to be the best, with very few system failures.

Windows 98:

Before writing anything about 98, let me clarify one thing. Dont expect more from Windows or Microsoft. It have a lot of drawbacks. The same applies to 98 too. But compared to ME, its a better OS. But beware to select the Second Edition of 98 if any one is going for that.

Windows 2000:

The Best one. It have a lot of plus points. It does have a better stability, compared to their other products. It is the best for Software Developers for sure, because it does have a greater stability when we compare it with other MS Products. SOHO users, go for Windows2000 Professional and for Bigger offices, go for 2000 Server.

Windows ME:

Dont go for ME Im not wasting the space provided here to write about that product.

Windows XP:

Good looking OS, which tooks a lot of system resources. They made it a lot more user friendly and attractive. But what MS forgot is its stability. It lacks stability. Try its CD writing software and you wont bother try to write CD any more(because the XP Writing tool takes almost 5 times more time to complete than other CD burning softwares like Nero and Adaptec)
