Choosing a Mobile service...I remember the days when I was pondering over, which service to go for...but then I didnt have to think about the WLL services, jus Orange or BPL...( in Mumbai )
but today, u have the WLL services coming in, and MTNL has introduced their own Cell services... and so has BSNL...
Assuming, the request was made from Mumbai...let me write in what I think is the best from my own personal Xperience...
Initially I went in for the BPL services, after a good amount of research....Some reasons BPL scored better over Orange...
Connectivity was really good.
Bills were picture perfect, I had no problems with BPL on that issue
BPL supported email features...and I was a regular user of the function...then ORANGE didnt have it...
and then another service was introduced...DOLPHIN prepaid services from MTNL...and boy o boy...was it a dream come true....?? suddenly sms started being cheaper @ 1 Re/- I actually made fone calls all around the place, and most of the calls made during the wee hours were never charged for...am sure it was some system glitch...anyways, had I charged for lets say 500 rs, I cud make n no. of International fone calls and still end up with a negation of somethng like 5 rs/- or so...
and the more faster u use the refills, u get an xtra fifty bucks as bonus for finishing it up, in the next month...
Anyways, hope this short review was of help, if not, not to worry,its probably bcos u are not in mumbai, just lemme know where u are from, and then may be I could suggest a better option...
