I had a very bad experience ordering cake from Chocolate Biclate at Thergaon, Pune. I went to the shop and selected a birthday cake(chocolate truffle and vanilla layered) of 1.5 kg from the customized cake photos they provided for my son's birthday last month. They told me the cake will be ready on that day by 10.30 am. On that day, when I reached at 11 am, they told that they had a mistake with the cake and someone else photo was printed on my cake. So they realised the mistake once it is received and sent it back to Dange Chowk branch to correct it. So it will take another 1 hour for the same. I was really angry and told you promised the deliver at 10.30 and its already 11. But they were not at all responding to that and told me to come by 12 pm. I asked for my advance money refund and they told they won't refund the paid money.
I had no other way and so I reached again at 12.30 pm. This time also the cake didn't arrived and they told me it is on the way and will reach in another 10 minutes. Finally after half an hour the cake reached, and when I opened the same, it was not looking like what I ordered. When I mentioned it, they started arguing at me saying that the cake won't look exactly like the photo all the time.
I had no other way and I took the cake to home. In home, when we cut the cake, it was just a normal chocolate cake. No layers, no mix flavours nothing. Also recently I came to know this is not my experience alone, so many friends in my organisation shared me similar experience when I told them my story. This brand nevers delivers any ordered item on time and what they give to everyone is somewhat a chocolate cake, which is the only one they know to make. Terrible brand, don't ever spoil your celebrations with them ever.
