I am a student in this college for the last 3 years. It is affiliated to IP University, Delhi and I'm pursuing B Tech Information Technology here but I regret for choosing this.
Earlier I was studying B Sc Industrial Chemistry at one of the prestigious colleges under Delhi University but I was forced by my parents to join IP University. Actually I had made some mistakes in selecting the college preferenece and as a result I was alloted this college.
The location of the college is not ideal. It almost hits the state border and transportation facilities are horrible. It takes about 2 hours to reach there if you come from Central Delhi, or more depending on your location.
The college does not spend anything on buying the Lab equipments or for improving the Infrastructure.
Most of the teacher are contractual and are not trained enough to teach. Or better say they do not want to teach.It has been a long time I'd attended a class or lab.
I think the Standard of education in this College is well below the Average and it definitely needs improvement. It's my message to the Principal to look upon this and resolve this issue. Also, use the fund provided by the government for buying useful things, that benefit the students. There's no need to install lift in a 2-3 floor building, better use it to reward students by organising ed and sports competitions. If possible, please hire a school bus.
The College staff is rude and not ready to work. Mr Harish who is from Administration Department is an arrogant person and he will refuse to sign your documents. He didn't register my friend and made him pay 500 rs late fee for the Registration for no reason.
Earlier this college offered Environment engineering but from the last year they have ended it.
Faculty for Civil and Environment engineering is really limited. There's so much shortage of faculty that One of the members teaches us two subjects. How bad?
The worst thing is that they want you to do things manually which one can simply do at home online within 5 minutes. Like Registering yourself, applying for an ID card, Library card, Scholarships etc.
Please do not join this College if you care about your future. I'm not kidding. This is a genuine review to let the kids know the reality of this College.
