I am fasinated by old folklore and ghost stories and this site was one that I had to check out.
It loads fast and is easy on the eyes. You will find many links here such as True Ghost Stories, Story Archives, The unexplained, Urban Legends, Austrailian Haunts, Ghost towns and Ghostly photos'.
Some of the pictures are ones that will make you stop and think. The stories are good and well written. It does state on the site that some may be hoaxes and some may not be.
The main thing that caught my eye is starting October 1 the submissions part of the site will be open and you can send in your own stories.
I tried to access the page but it wouldn't let me at the moment but tomorrow I should be able to get in there. I don't know at this point if they pay for submissions or not or what the requirements are so I will be updating this as soon as I find out.
Personally I don't care if they pay or not. It is a chance to get back to doing some serious writing which is my first love and I have many ghost stories to write about so am very anxious to see what they have to offer and how many times I can submit. Later today I will be writing some down and saving them. I will be prepared ahead of time. From looking at some of the stories some are quite lengthy so will just guess at the length for now.
For anyone interested in serious writing and I know a lot of you are and for anyone interested in reading ghost stories, I would highly recommend this site. Go give it a look and see what you think. This is certainly one that I will visit often.
