First of all beware of all companies who have their head offices in Gurgaon.
Last week I visited Cars24 in HSR Layout Bangalore. After checking the estimated price of 3, 61, 000/- for my Hyundai Eon, on their website I decided to go to their HSR layout office.
They claim to finish the deal in 30 mins or so. But I had to wait for almost 1 hour before the evaluation person came to inspect my car. This was because, he was supposed to be inspecting another vehicle which was in pathetic condition.( thats what they claim)
Even after taking the test drive and checking for faults in my car, they could not find any fault in my car as it was just 2 months old and had done only 2500kms.
The sales guy said it was closing time so he was unable to give an estimation for my car at that moment. But he promised to call me the next day before 11am and give the estimate.
The next day I called him nearly 10 times after 11 am, but he never answered my calls. Then I called the customer care number in Gurgaon and explained them the situation. Immediately I got a call from him and he quoted me Rs 2, 60, 000/- for my car.
I asked him the reason for such a drastic depretiation, he had nothing to say. He kept repeating that this is the final bidding they have go for my car through their bidders online.
I had already posted an ad on OLX for my car and had already received an offer for 3, 40, 000/- from a person. Thinking I could get an extra 20K for my car, I approached cars24.But they turned out to be the biggest cheats of all time.
They just wasted my time and energy and petrol.
They have nearly 15+ staffs in their office, doing nothing. They need to pay them, right? They need to extract money for google ads, right? They need to pay the huge monthly rent for their shiny office, right? Where will they get money for all these if they do business in an honest manner?
Their whole business is based on catching the odd Bakras.
Business based of cheating customers who are unaware of the market value or who are desperate or who just dont do know how to go about it.
Business model designed to take advantage of innocent people.
My advice, just post your car for sale on OLX( Not quikr) dont even bother to go to such mediators. They are nothing but scamsters!
